Come watch the Quad City Storm play the Knoxville Ice Bears at the TaxSlayer Center on November 29th for our Black Friday Black-Out! $6 of every ticket sold through this fundraiser will be going back to benefit Christian Care! Be sure to bring clean (emphasis on clean), packaged underwear, socks, and gloves to throw onto the ice! A huge thank you to Fully Promoted for sponsoring the evening, as well as 97X for the $2 beers and hot dogs all night!

 

All the funding raised will go right into our shelter and community meal site, providing beds, food, and other valuable resources to help care for people in need in our community. We have 42 beds for homeless men in our shelter, enabling us to provide over 15,000 nights of shelter every year. Our meal site is the only meal site in the Quad Cities that is open 7 days a week, and we provide an average of 45,000 meals every year. Thanks to gifts from our generous community, we also have a donation center through which we give out clothing and toiletries for people in need. We also provide a variety of case management services to help our residents get back on their feet, find a job, and find a home of their own.
