FC Dallas and Vogel Alcove have teamed up to host a special fundraising opportunity as part of FC Dallas’ Nonprofit Night on Saturday, August 27 against Real Salt Lake! Vogel Alcove is a 501c3 nonprofit agency which provides therapeutic early childhood services, school-age programs, behavioral and mental health, and family support services for homeless children ages six weeks to 14 years-old, and their families. Since 1987, the agency has served more than 17,000 Dallas-area homeless children. Vogel Alcove is on a mission to help young children and their families overcome the lasting and traumatic effects of homelessness. It is their vision that every child in the community has a home, a self-sufficient family and a foundation for success in school and life. Vogel Alcove utilizes a research-based curriculum designed to help children living in traumatic circumstances like homelessness. Their approach helps to improve developmental outcomes, foster social/emotional skills and creates a pathway for success in school.
