The Quad City Storm’s inaugural season is halfway through and the playoff race is getting intense! Saturday, February 9th is a special night! The Storm will be hosting the Peoria Rivermen for our "Hockey Fights Cancer" Night. We will be inviting fans to come out and paint names of loved ones impacted by cancer on the ice on the Wednesday before. The team will also be wearing special cancer support jerseys to be auctioned off after the game! Ascentra Credit Union will also be doing a special giveaway. Gilda’s Club Quad Cities and the Storm have partnered up to raise funds to support their cause:
The mission of Gilda’s Club Quad Cities is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. Free of charge, Gilda’s Club Quad Cities provides support, education and hope to all people affected by cancer. Funds raised from this event will remain local to our community and support this mission by helping to provide educational programs and healthy lifestyle activities to all those impacted in our community.
Tickets are on sale for just $15 in the Twister Section of the lower bowl! $5 of every ticket sold will be going back to Gilda’s Club of the QC!
Order your tickets by Monday, February 4th and your ticket will be emailed to you. You must print and bring your tickets to the game. Any orders after February 4th will be available for pickup at will call day of the game. Getting tickets for a group is easy this year! No more standing in line, no having a physical ticket to sell. Just share the code with all of your friends and co-workers via email, Facebook, Twitter, and text!
