The Maine Elks Association is the largest and longest-standing supporter of the Maine Children’s Cancer Program (MCCP). In 1985, the Maine Elks Association adopted MCCP as their statewide “major project” just as MCCP was incorporated as a non-profit organization. 38 years later, the Maine Elks remain as committed as ever to MCCP and continue to work tirelessly to advance the care provided to young Mainers fighting cancer and blood disorders. As part of their statewide effort, Maine Elks lodges raise funds year-round through a variety of events including golf tournaments, music festivals, fishing derbies, motorcycle runs, auctions, bake sales, and the like.

 

Today, the Maine Elks Association has surpassed $5.7 million in cumulative funds raised for Maine Children’s Cancer Program. It’s with great thanks to the Maine Elks Association that the Maine Children’s Cancer Program is able to provide such a high level of care to children in Maine fighting cancer and blood disorders.
