Entry fee and any additional match tickets purchased are non-refundable. The 5K race entry is non-transferable.

 

Get your season off to a running start at the sixth annual Purple Pride 5K presented by Orlando Health, Publix, and JetBlue. This year’s annual running of the City fans will take place at Exploria Stadium. The race will start outside the stadium on Church St. and, for the first time ever, finish on the sideline of the field inside the stadium! Spectators will get to sit in the seats and watch the finish and runners will exit the field through the iconic, black-lit player's tunnel!

 

The Purple Pride 5K will be capped at a maximum of 1,500 runners. Each runner will receive a race t-shirt, a commemorative finishers medal, and one ticket to the 2020 Orlando City Home Opener on Saturday, February 29th against Real Salt Lake.

 

Be sure to stick around for the post-race celebration taking place within the West Lot of Exploria Stadium. Post race activities will include a race DJ, complimentary runner refreshments, and interactive games for the entire family.

2020 Finisher Medal

All runners who register for the Purple Pride 5K will receive a medal for completing the run. Medal design to be revealed at a later date.

 

Match Ticket & Additional Match Tickets

Each runner will receive one ticket to the 2020 Orlando City home opener as part of this package. During the online registration process, you will have the ability to choose between North/South 100 level or Supporter Section Tickets. 

This registration will secure you a ticket to the 2020 Orlando City Home Opener that you can access via your Orlando City Ticketmaster Account Manager. This can be accessed using the same login information that you used to register.

In addition, you will have the ability to purchase additional tickets to the 2020 Orlando City Home Opener during the registration for the 2020 Pub Crawl for $25; TicketMaster fees will apply.

 

Race Number and T-Shirt Pick-Up Information & Policies

In addition to race day, City Fans will also be able to come and pick up their race number and t-shirt prior to race day (Specific Dates TBA). Runners will receive an e-race packet, which will be sent to the email with which you registered, with race information, course map, special offers, partner discounts and more.

 

You must present a form of government issued photo ID in order to pick up your race number and t-shirt. The only exception will be parents picking it up for their children; however, parents will still be required to present a photo ID.

You may pick up a race number and t-shirt for a friend, family member or co-worker, however you must present a written note (email, text, or in handwriting) granting you permission AND a picture/photocopy of that person’s government issued photo ID.

E-Race Packet Information

This year's race packet will be delivered virtually to your email inbox. This packet will include race information, course map, exclusive partner discounts, club promotions, and much more! Please expect this to arrive the day before the race.

T-Shirts

Registered runners will receive a race t-shirt when they pick up their number (sizes not guaranteed).

The race will not be timed this year, however clocks will be placed at the start and finish so that you can keep track of your time.

Top 3 Overall Male & Female Winners receive gift cards from associated partners, along with other prizes.

How long is the course?

The 5K is 3.1 miles.

 

Will the race be timed? 

The race will not be timed this year, however clocks will be placed at the start and finish so that you can keep track of your time.

 

When and where do I pick up my registration materials?

Schedule to be announced. You will be able to pick up your race number the day of the race within the West Club of Exploria Stadium.

 

Who gets a T-shirt?

All runners, up to 1,500, who successfully complete the registration and payment processes are guaranteed a free race t-shirt, which will be given to runners at packet pick-up (sizes not guaranteed).

 

What if I need help along the way?

Qualified emergency medical professionals are available to provide assistance at the start/finish lines.

 

Can I participate in the event with my dog?

Sorry, as much as we love our pets too, the safety of participants is our main concern. Therefore, we do not allow pets on the course.

 

Can I participate with a stroller?

Yes, nurturing future generations of City and Pride fans and demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our kids is a priority. However, we ask that you please start in the later part of the runners.

 

What do I do with my personal items while I’m running?

Within the Fan Zone in the West Lot of Exploria Stadium, we will have a complementary Mobile Locker where you can store items throughout the duration of the race.

 

Should I bring my own water?

There will be a total of two water stops along the course where water will be provided. Water will also be provided at the Finish Line. Please refer to the course map above for more details on water stop locations.

 

Where do I park?

Arriving 1 hour early is strongly recommended due to traffic congestion. Area parking garages will be available, hourly rates may apply.
