FEVO Guide: Flex Plans That Give Fans More Choice and Teams More Ways to Sell

October 28, 2026

Make every game count with flexible ticket packages built around what fans want.

Not every fan is ready to commit to a full season, and not every ticket package needs to look the same. Flex Plans give fans the freedom to choose the games, ticket options, and experiences that work for them, while giving teams and venues more ways to sell inventory, increase order value, and reach new audiences.

With FEVO Flex Plans, partners can jump into FEVO Enterprise and build customized multi-event packages with configurable tiers, ticket minimums and maximums, and inventory options. Whether you're looking to build attendance for lower-demand games, capitalize on a marquee matchup, or give fans a more personalized experience, Flex Plans can help you turn your schedule into an opportunity to sell.

Here are five strategies to consider for your next Flex Plan.

1. Use Your Biggest Games to Sell More of Your Schedule

High-demand games can do more than drive individual ticket sales. They can also encourage fans to attend additional games throughout the season.

With an anchor game strategy, make a marquee matchup, rivalry game, Opening Day, or premium giveaway night a required selection in your Flex Plan. Then, let fans choose additional games from a selection of dates you control.

This approach connects demand for your biggest events with opportunities to move inventory for other matchups, helping you build attendance across your schedule.

In action: Butler Basketball used its Lafayette game as the anchor for a Flex Plan. Fans selected that matchup first, then chose additional games to complete their package.

2. Reward Commitment With Access to Premium Matchups

Give fans a reason to build a larger package by making premium games available once they meet a minimum selection requirement.

With built-in minimums and multiple tiers, you can establish rules that encourage fans to select a set number of standard games before unlocking premium matchups. Fans get access to the games they want, and your organization can use that demand to encourage broader participation across the schedule.

In action: The Vegas Golden Knights set a six-game minimum for their Flex Plan, with the option to add more games. Fans could unlock premium matchups after selecting four games from the standard tier.

3. Go Beyond Tickets With Merchandise and Experiences

A Flex Plan can offer more than a selection of games. Adding merchandise, exclusive access, or partner experiences can make a package more personal while creating additional value for buyers and your organization.

Consider a multi-tiered package that lets fans select their games in the first tier, then choose an add-on in the next. Options could include exclusive merchandise, VIP warm-up access, a post-game photo, or a partner-hosted experience.

These additions can help differentiate your package, increase order value, and create opportunities to extend sponsorship activations beyond the event itself.

In action: The Philadelphia Flyers paired game tickets with an exclusive watch party pass at a partner casino venue. Fans received an additional hockey-related experience, while the team extended the value of its sponsorship.

4. Make Smaller Ticket Packages an Easy Yes

A full season plan isn't the right fit for every fan. Smaller, clearly priced packages can provide a more approachable entry point for those who want to attend a few games without making a larger commitment.

Consider offering two-, three-, or five-game packs with straightforward pricing, such as "Pick Any 3 Games for $99." Fans can compare options, select the games that fit their schedules, and purchase a package that works for them.

These smaller plans can be especially useful during holiday shopping periods, Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotions, or other seasonal campaigns when buyers are looking for gifts and experiences to share with friends and family.

In action: Florida Gators Football presented its two-game and three-game mini plans side by side on one page, allowing fans to compare their options and choose the package that best fit their needs.

5. Give Fans More Control Over Their Package

Flex Plans allow you to define the structure of a package without dictating every choice a fan makes.

You can configure event selections, establish minimums and maximums, create multiple tiers, and determine which inventory is available at each stage. You can also offer different inventory types to give fans options that align with their budgets and preferences.

The result is a more flexible buying experience that can accommodate different audiences, event priorities, and campaign goals.

The Chicago Blackhawks: Putting Flexibility Into Action

For the Chicago Blackhawks' 2025-26 Centennial Celebration, the team used FEVO Flex Plans to connect demand for its milestone game with additional January matchups.

Fans selected the Centennial Celebration game and then chose another January game that fit their schedules. The team presented the package at a unified starting price of $100, allowing buyers to select the inventory type that worked for their budget.

By combining a themed experience, personalized game selection, and a streamlined purchase journey, the Blackhawks achieved strong results:

  • 46.8% conversion rate for the Centennial Two-Pack.
  • $378K in gross revenue from 4,200 tickets sold across 1,478 orders.
  • 423 new email contacts, representing 29% of buyers who were new to the Blackhawks' database.
  • Greater operational flexibility, with the ticket operations team able to build, adjust, and launch the campaign in-house using FEVO's self-service tools.

The campaign demonstrates how a well-structured Flex Plan can help organizations connect a high-demand event with broader ticket sales while giving fans meaningful choices.
